Cellit Climate provides the most accurate, targeted and timely mobile weather alerts available. Using a proprietary, rules-based engine, Cellit Climate delivers select National Weather Service alerts to the mobile phone. Currently used by a dozen television stations, Cellit Climate provides only the most relevant alerts to the subscriber, preventing the perception of “spam” and providing specific weather details, such as the alert’s effective start and end times, and the specific counties to be affected.
Cellit Climate is flexible and easy to customize by the station. Subscribers can set levels of importance preferences, including selecting which alerts to receive and limiting times of day to receive alerts.
Cellit Climate is an add-on service for Cellit Studio, Cellit’s flagship campaign manager, and was developed to support local news outlets in their broadcast television, radio and newspaper advertising space. To ensure a quick ROI, Cellit Climate can integrate with Cellit’s text-based ad manager, rotating relevant ads based on topic of the alert, time of day, and user demographics.
