8/20/2008 - Small Market Radio (www.smallmarketradio.com) website joins CELLit and the multi-media world. CELLit will provide video services for the popular business site for small market radio stations. Publisher, Jay Mitchell, posted his "Welcome!" video Thursday August 21.

8/1/2008 - CELLit changed to the Amazon Web Services using the EC2/S3 services. This move replaces the physical servers and provides an immediate 4-fold increase in computing resources. During August CELLit will complete the change over and enjoy the full scalable resources of the AWS network providing terabytes of video delivery capacity.

8/1/2008 - CELLit provides banner ad space on the hosted media pages. Now clients can use the available banner space with ad scripts or post their own graphics. This new feature makes banner ad placement much easier for small and mid-size media companies.

7/18/2008 - Widgets provide media website owners the opportunity for dynamic content without increasing operating expenses. Widgets, defined as code that can be pasted into a webpage, constantly display new hosted media images. CELLit clients can build their own widgets in six different sizes and three different programs: Most Popular, Most Recent, and Highest Rated videos or pictures. CELLit widgets use the radio website colors and logo. Widget code can be build instantly and run immediately.

7/15/2008 - CELLit updates the Main Video page. Hosted media sites can now select one of three choices for the main audience panel. Administrators can change the key panel display between Most Popular, Most Recent, and Highest Ratings.

7/14/2008 - Contests are important part of radio station programming. Video and picture contests can now run more effectively with the media website and new CELLit contest controls. Special channels can be designated. Contest entries can be open or fully moderated. A new feature allows stations to designate a Finalist channel and restart all voting, views, comments, and tags. Contests are excellent traffic builders and sponsor tools.

6/29/2008 - The CELLit Talent Bar located on each hosted page is updated to the standard 120x240 vertical banner size. Broadcast stations can now choose one of three options. Post your own graphics, insert an ad-network script for the 120x240 banner, or feature any hosted video/picture on the site. This new versatility opens new opportunities for program identification, contest information, and paid sponsorships.

6/19/2008 - Video thumbnail images invite or discourage audience participation. CELLit now provides the site administration a choice of 5-images. The web manager can review and then select the most appealing for public display. The system default image is available. This new feature allows for the most appealing presentation of hosted media.

6/3/2008 - CELLit welcomes WSGN to their initial learning site.

6/1/2008 - CELLit launched Generation II graphics updates for all hosted media

pages. These new graphics include a more appealing Channel Tabs, new page headings, an updated Talent Bar, cleaner Gallery Pages, an improved viewer comments section, and better social tools for visitors to enjoy videos with their friends.

7/2/2008 - CELLit introduced new text editing and color customization tools. Now, hosted web pages have more customization options including colors, fonts, text, and section headings. The hosted pages allow the audience to enjoy the same look and feel as the parent website.

5/29/2008 - CELLit welcomes Ksoul 94.5 to their initial learning site.

5/19/2008 - Broadcast station audiences can participate with user-generated video and pictures. Media can be posted by pc, cell phone, and email. Now, broadcast partners can use their own email addresses Video@MyStation.com. CELLit can now accept forwarded email, automatically handle the attachments, and post the video or pictures. Broadcast partners can select from automatic posting, trusted sender posting, or full admin moderation.

5/12/2008 - Contests are an important part of any broadcaster programming. To help build credibility CELLit has installed controls to restrict audience voting/rating to one-time per day per computing device.

5/6/2008 - CELLit welcomes Star 105 to their initial learning site.

5/4/2008 - CELLit has updated video processing to include the new popular HD video format MP4. New and inexpensive cameras now produce high-definition video. New camera owners can now post these videos on CELLit hosted media pages. Additionally, CELLit has increased the video size and quality to keep up with increasing consumer tastes for better internet video.

5/2/2008 - CELLit welcomes Houstons 55 TV-station and their new web graphics.

5/1/2008 - CELLit welcomes Power 94 to their initial learning site.

5/1/2008 - Only two options - try three. Most broadcast stations choose to absolutely moderate user-generated video. Some choose to allow automatic posting and audience Flag reports for objectionable content. CELLit now introduces a third choice - Trusted Senders. Web managers can designate employees and know third parties to be trusted senders. Any media provided by these senders is automatically posted. Trusted senders provide broadcast outlets the opportunity to be first with the news. Trusted sender material is logged and status can be changed by the administrator.

4/15/2008 - Web managers are not 24/7 operators. To assist in the moderation of user-generated materials, CELLit now provides for Media Managers access with limited administrative privileges to approve media postings, edit comments, change tags, and generally manage user-generated content. The broadcast station operates 24/7 and this new feature allows for better media moderation.

4/14/2008 - CELLit introduced new Channel Tabs for broadcast stations to feature programs, contests, and new topics. Channels can highlight the morning show, on-air talent, special features, contests, and other information. Channels appear at the top of each hosted page and content can be arranged by ratings, popularity, and how recently posted. Channels are fully controlled by the local administrator and can be updated immediately from the private ADMIN pages.

4/9/2008 - Media Groups now have the ability to share user-generated video between stations. With a double-opt in control user-generated videos and pictures can be shared exclusively with other owned and operated stations. Exciting user-generated videos can be used to help companion stations grow their web traffic and build their own audience participation.
